Bicentennial Celebration 200KM Walk
Singapore, 29–31 December 2019 – In an inspiring display of endurance and unity, the Bicentennial Celebration 200KM Walk was successfully held at East Coast Park, drawing enthusiastic participants from across the country. Spanning three days—from 29th to 31st December 2019—this landmark event was officially recognized in the Singapore Book of Records for its remarkable achievement.
The walk was organized as part of Singapore’s Bicentennial celebrations, marking 200 years since the nation’s founding in 1819. Over the course of 72 hours, participants collectively completed a 200-kilometer distance, symbolizing the spirit of perseverance and national pride.
The scenic East Coast Park served as the perfect backdrop for the event, offering a refreshing blend of sea breeze and greenery, while volunteers and organizers ensured smooth coordination and safety for all walkers.
